THE SHUFFLER was trained by Gary Moore at
Cisswood near Gatwick, Sussex. A home bred by Australian sprinter
Reset out of our own mare Lucky Dice, he was a precocious early two
year old. However he slightly lost his way on the racecourse after
an excellent fourth at Goodwood in a Class 2 Nursery, despite
working well at home. He came back much stronger after his winter
break though and as a three year old won his first race of the
season at Brighton and then followed up at Chepstow two runs later,
despite being 12lb higher in the handicap! As well as two wins
in 2010, THE SHUFFLER also gave his owners some thrilling days out
when being placed at Sandown, Epson and
Windsor.
Unfortunately at 4 he met with a couple of
injuries and his legs did not seem to stand up to racing. He has
moved to a lovely new home where he will be retrained as a riding
club horse. He is a lovely chap and is a very happy little horse so
his new owners are very lucky to have
him!
