Owners of the South Cape Racehorse syndicate enjoy another Ascot winner.

A winner at Ascot! What could be more exciting!

The Racing Post reported; SOUTH CAPE didn´t run badly in the Newbury Spring Cup on his reappearance and, with that run under his belt and off a competitive mark, he was well backed. Ridden more patiently by Champion Jockey RYAN MOORE that at Newbury, he had the race run to suit and finished things off well. This trip of one mile seems to suit him better than 7f these days.
They went a stronger early pace in this division, which suited those held up, and the final time was 0.54sec quicker than the earlier heat.
