Gary Moore Mick Channon train winners for racehorse owners in our syndicates

Mick Channon, Gary Moore, Joe Tuite & Sheena West are the trainers we have chosen to provide our owners with maximum enjoyment as well as a steady stream of winners. The latest trainer to join our 'string' is the legendary SIR HENRY CECIL and we are very much looking forward to working with him. It is very important to HEART OF THE SOUTH that our owners can visit their horses when ever they wish and not have to wait for the odd organised trip. Make sure you take plenty of carrots when you go!
SIR HENRY CECIL; Henry Cecil's record speaks for itself - 4 Epsom Derbys, 6 1000 Guineas, 3 2000 Guineas and no less than 8 Oaks! Over the years he has trained legends like Reference Point, Bosra Sham, Oh So Sharp and of course the mighty Frankel. He sends out numerous high profile winners from his historic Warren Place yard and we are so excitied to be working with him.
MICK CHANNON; Probably one of the most famous characters in the world of horse racing. In his younger days Mick was an international soccer star scoring many goals for England. Now he is one of the leading trainers of racehorses. Mick now trains at the famous West Ilsley stables where legendary horses such as Troy, Brigadier Gerrard, etc. still have their name plates on the stable doors. Mick will always find time to speak with you when you visit the gallops.
GARY MOORE; If Gary was a racehorse he would be worth £millions. "Sire" of Champion jockey RYAN MOORE, top National Hunt jockey Jamie Moore and Champion amateur Joshua Moore. Recently Gary moved from his very limited yard adjacent to Brighton Racecourse to a new 320 acre training establishment at Cisswood in Sussex, which is just a few miles from Gatwick. HEART OF THE SOUTH RACING do have an office at this yard so there is generally a cup of tea waiting when you visit.

JOE TUITE Joe began training at the beginning of 2011 but we have known him for many years in his previous role as asistant trainer for Mick Channon. It was Joe who ran the yard at West Ilsley for Mick when he was seriously ill after an horrific road accident. We were proud to be one of his first owners and were delighted to provide him with his first winner in INTERAKT. This filly has gone on to be his stable star, winning a further two races during the summer. For 2012 he will train not only INTERAKT but also RED YARN and an as yet unnamed filly by KHELEYF. SHEENA WEST Sheena West trains at Balmer Farm at Lewes, on the outskirts of Brighton. She trains a small string of mostly jumpers and she has plenty of winners. She has trained several winners for us and currently trains our MOHANAD, a winner on the flat and over hurdles. The horses are trained on the Sussex Downs on a working sheep farm and benefit from hundreds of acres of land so they can vary their route every day.
