GOODWOOD STARLIGHT, originally with John Dunlop at Arundel, is now in training with Sheena West, based in Lewes East Sussex. Her small and relaxed yard, based on a working farm, is the perfect environment for a 'buzzy' horse such as Starlight and he settled into the routine very well. In fact he is thriving! He made his seasonal start on 1st April at Folkestone and ran with great promise to finish second, and has gone on to be placed at Windsor and run an excellent race for 5th in the Cumberland Plate. He won his first race in two years at Epsom on 15th July, proving he has the ability when things fall right for him in a race! He seems to be a more relaxed and sensible horse this year and we have high hopes of another win before too long.
