INTERAKT improves to finish second this time.
Richard Hannon's highly fancied and heavily backed favourite
was back in third.

INTERAKT runs a super race first time out at Newbury over 7furlongs on June 24 2009. Slowly out of the stalls and hampered when another jockey slipped from his horse, INTERAKT ran on impressively to finish fifth in this top class maiden. This filly will win races!

Her Sire RAKTI (pictured right) won no less than SIX  Group 1 races, making him an exceptional racehorse. 

RAKTI was joint Champion Miler in the world in 2004, Timeform 129 and joint Champion Miler in Europe in 2005, Timeform 130. 

Furthermore, he is a grandson of the Champion sire Danzig - 30% of all Group races in the world are by Danzig line horses. 2009 will be his first season as a sire.

AMELIE POULICHE, the dam, won one race and was placed 8 times which shows great consistency. This is her first foal.

 RAKTI won 11 races in his career, and over £1,600 000 in prize money. He also continued to improve and race until he was a 6-year old; details of his Group performances are below:

AT 4 Won Emirates Airline Champion Stakes, Newmarket, Gr.1, (10f. beating Carnival Dancer and Indian Creek), Premio Presidente della Repubblica, Rome, Gr.1, (10f. beating Tigertail and Altieri), second in Hong Kong Cup, Gr.1, (to Falbrav), and second in Prince of Wales's Stakes, Ascot, Gr.1, (to Nayef).

AT 5 Won Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, Ascot, Gr.1, (8f. beating Lucky Story and Refuse To Bend, Prince of Wales's Stakes, Ascot, Gr.1, (10f. beating Powerscourt and Ikhtyar).

AT 6 Won Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes, Newbury, Gr.1, (8f. beating Mac Love and Hurricane Alan), secondin Queen Anne Stakes, York, Gr.1, (to Valixir).

December 2008. Still a yearling and just backed, our RAKTI filly is already looking promising. She was a little madam to break in however but we like a bit of spirit in a filly!

May 2009. Just look at this filly now! She has really matured into a smashing sort. Trainer Mick Channon expects big things!
