GOOD LUCK CHARM a 3-year old gelding by DOYEN, closely related to SADLERS WELLS Take a close look at the breeding of this horse and you will notice that FAIRY BRIDGE, the Famous Dam of SADLERS WELLS, appears on both sides of GOOD LUCK CHARM'S pedigree. Also DANZIG'S sire was NORTHERN DANCER the same sire as SADLERS WELLS. Darley personally requested we take our mare LUCKY DICE to DOYEN to result in this pedigree! This good moving long striding horse is in full training with Gary Moore. He has been given plenty of time to grow and mature. Gary Moore says "he is quite a handful but definitely has an engine! I expect him to win as soon as the longer races [12 furlongs] are open to him." GOOD LUCK CHARM ran with promise several times at 2 but ran his best race yet on his reappearance at 3 in early May, finishing a closing second under Ryan Moore over a trip short of ideal. This is a horse to watch!
	With his size and scope GOOD LUCK CHARM really stood out in the Parade Ring at Lingfield. He is bred to be successful on the flat and is sure to win soon, but he also looks very much like he could go on to be an exciting hurdler for the years to come.
GOOD LUCK CHARM bears a strong resemblance to his half-brother, THE SHUFFLER, who enjoyed a fantastic 2010 season with two wins, a second and two thirds! He is also a half brother to LIGHTNING SPIRIT, a 3-year winning filly. The Dam, LUCKY DICE, produces some lovely types but this is by far her most powerful and forward yet. The fact he shows speed and is stamina bred indicates he could be a fun long term prospect for owners! DOYEN winning one of his many Group 1's	DOYEN was a top class multi group 12f winner, including the King George where he smashed Ascot’s 21 year old 12 furlong record by the equivalent of two lengths (until Harbinger in 2010!) DOYEN stands at the world famous Darley and they personally recommended we put LUCKY DICE to DOYEN as this results in offspring being 48% Saddlers Wells, as the Dam FAIRY BRIDGE appears on both side of the pedigree. Doyen was the record breaking Horse Of The Year 2004 and rated 132 by Timeform. He had a successful first season as a Sire in 2010 and to date as produced over 50 winners.
