Tobago Bay - a firm favourite with HOTSR

TOBAGO BAY was originally trained for us by Mick Channon on the flat. However, a switch to hurdling has been the making of him. He has won three fantastic juvenile hurdles and top dual purpose trainer Gary Moore provided us with his best win to date romping home in a competitive handicap hurdle at Newbury earlier this year, 2011.

He was bred for the flat but he has excelled as a hurdler, winning four races in total and running well at Cheltenham several times. He is a fantastic jumper, a determined stayer and has given his owners some thrilling days out. He is also a firm favourite at Gary Moore's yard and is much loved by his loyal owners - he literally has a queue of people willing to give him a good home once he retires from racing (which we hope is a long way off yet!)

TOBAGO BAY has enjoyed a good summer holiday in the paddocks and is now back in work as Gary prepeares him for the new National Hunt season.

TOBAGO BAY wins his best race to date and his more valuable prize. Well done to Gary Moore, his son Jamie and all the team at Cisswood Stables in getting this horse back to his best. Let's hope he can continue his winning ways at Haydock Park on 23 March!

Back on his preferred going TOBAGO BAY wins very easily. We wonder what might have been if the going had been firmer at Cheltenham. - that's racing!

FRED WINTER NOVICE HURDLE
Jockey - Jamie Goldstein

TOBAGO BAY runs the race of his life leading 95% of the way.
Unfortunately the ground was against him (good to soft) but seeing him lead for so far, all his owners had a wonderful day.

Had the ground been better, who knows where he would have finished?! It was still a dream come true for his loyal owners. TOBAGO BAY had run well at Cheltenham in the past, finishing third in a juvenile hurdle.
